Market Filter methodology
We don’t sell ratings or create artificial rankings. We help you quickly understand what a source really is: its content, transparency, strengths, risks, and trust.
Purpose
Transparent evaluation criteria
We treat each channel as a separate object of analysis. The final conclusion is not based on a single factor or impression but on a combination of data: content, statistics, reputation, monetization model, and author behavior.
The methodology is necessary so that the user understands how ratings are formed, where statuses come from, and why different channels receive varying levels of trust.

Criteria for Evaluating Channels
Data & Sources
What data is the analysis based on?
Numbers on the channel page
Once a day we read open Telegram data ourselves. We use no outside services. The numbers on a channel page cover the last 30 days.
Post views is how many views a typical post of the channel gets: half of the posts get more, half get fewer. Posts younger than three days are not counted yet, they are still gathering views. Engagement is the views of a typical post divided by the number of subscribers. Forwards per post is how many times a post is forwarded on average. Posts per day counts only the channel's own posts, without forwarded ones; an album counts as one post. Subscriber growth is the difference between the first and the last reading over 30 days.
This is Telegram data, not an editorial rating, and it can be inflated. We show it the same way for every channel, whether the channel pays us or not. Closed channels, groups and channels in Market Scam have no such block.
Factors
What affects the final output?
Statuses

Marks
Marks that are not statuses
These marks do not affect a channel’s score or status. They only tell how the channel got into the selection.
Payment
What can be bought here, and what cannot
We provide four paid services: a review for the "Market Filter Verified" badge with monthly monitoring, a channel analysis with publication in the catalog, a partner placement in a top, and a queue-jump review. Payment for none of them affects a rating or the conclusions of our editorial team, and the badge and the "Verified" status cannot be obtained by payment.
What is paid for in a review is the work, not the badge. The badge is assigned only where a channel meets the criteria of this methodology, and a refusal is a normal outcome of a review. After that, the badge stays valid for as long as the editorial team's monthly monitoring is paid for, and the first month is included in the price of the review. If the monitoring is not paid for, the badge is removed, and this is not a conclusion about the channel. A queue-jump review changes only the timeframe, never the outcome.
A partner placement in a top sits apart from the places earned through editorial assessment and always carries the "Market Filter Partner" label. Payment for the placement does not change the channel's reputation status, which stays visible. A partner placement is given only to channels with the "Verified" analysis status. Channels with the "Scam" or "Under Review" status are not given one.
We do not create the illusion of absolute truth.
We create a system where it is clear what each conclusion is based on.
